Rules and Regulations
1. Introduction
The Senior's Radiant Academy, Karamasepur, Mishrikh, Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh), is located on Sitapur-Hardoi Road, 2 km away from Mishrikh town, on more than 3 acres of lush green, pollution-free prime land in the lap of nature. The school is run and governed by Child Herald Social Welfare Society, which has been serving since 1989 through its various schools by imparting quality education to its own kind, with the mission “Education for All”. The visionaries have a vision to facilitate the students of semi-developed areas like Mishrikh with such education that caters to the needs of modern learning and makes them able to take on the challenges of the modern world. Therefore, the visionaries have made efforts to affiliate S.R.A. with an international board. The school has been affiliated with the CISCE Board, New Delhi, and has been allowed by the council to hold ICSE/ISC examinations with its own centre at its premises. There are only five CISCE-affiliated schools in district Sitapur. S.R.A. is the only English medium affiliated school in Tehsil Mishrikh, which promises a standard education comparable to anywhere in India with unique facilities. The school is equipped with ultra-modern amenities to impart education for the all-round development of the child.
2. Aims& Objectives

The objective ofthis school is to make your child a good student, diligent and industrious, honest, truthful,just and fair in dealing with all and inculcate in them feeling of patriotism and brotherhoodand make them spiritual and pure-minded person to elevate the tone of the society in whichthey move.
3. Academic Session:-
Academic session commences in March and ends in February.
4. Rules and regulation
- Application for admission is made to the Principal of the concerned campus on a prescribed form. The Principal reserves the right, without specifying any reason whatsoever, to refuse admission to an applicant.
- Admission to pre-primary classes and playgroup is made according to the age of the child: 2–3 years of age for Montessori, 4 years of age for Nursery, and 5 years of age for Kindergarten. A child's ability is also taken into consideration.
- Admission to any class except pre-primary is made after a pre-admission test, and on production of a valid birth certificate/transfer certificate from the previous institution.
5. Admission
- For admission in school, the birth certificate/transfer certificate is compulsory.
- Information given in the birth certificate/T.C. will be considered true, and any change or amendment in these records will not be possible.
6. Withdrawal
- Transfer certificate (T.C.) will be issued on the basis of school records.
- Transfer certificate will be issued after three working days of submission of the withdrawal form, and for countersign of T.C., it may take up to one week.
7. Fees
- School fees and conveyance fee will be charged for 12 calendar months.
- School fees and conveyance fee must be deposited up to the last working day of each month.
- On non-payment of school fee and conveyance fee, a late payment charge of Rs. 100 will be applied per month.
- On non-payment of fees for two regular months, the name of the student will be struck off from the scholar register and conveyance service will be cancelled. The student will be allowed to attend the class only after submission of re-admission fees and all dues.
8. Uniform
- Students whose uniform is unfit, torn, faded and incomplete will not be permitted toattend the class.
- Please send your ward in proper prescribed uniform.
- In winter season navy blue blazer is compulsory for all boys and girls.
9. Attendance,absence,fineandre-admission fees
- As regular attendance is an important requirement for successful results,a written application for leave must be submitted well in advance. In case of illness and other unforeseen circumstances, the guardian should inform the principal in writing as soon aspossible. A minimum attendance of 75% of the total working days is required during the academic year,falling short of which the student will not be allowed to take the examination that year.
- The name of a student who is absent for 15 days without leave shall be struck off the roll.For onre-admission, are-admissionfee ofRs 500/-willbe charged.
- A student whose name has been struck offfor absence without leave and who is habitually late, persistently careless and undisciplined may not be re-admitted to the school.
- Every student must be present on the reopen ing day after eachvacation.
- It is advis able to ensure that a student is not disturbed during examination days and is not asked to attend social functions.
- No student can leave the school premises during school hours without the written permission of the principal, which may be granted under exceptional circumstances, basedon the written request of parents.
- The Principal has the right to suspend a student. The principal may also ask parents/guardiansto withdraw their child from the school if his/her conduct or educational progress is notsatisfactory.
- All entries of absence, late-coming or half-day leave should be made in the school diary and not on sheet sofpaper.
10. Class work and Home work
- Class work, which includes oral work written work and class tests, is taken into consideration for promotion.
- In the Kindergarten,primary,junior highschool,ICSE/ISC,home working English,Hindi,Mathematics,Science and other optional subjects is given regularly.Guardian sare requested to see that their children complete their home work regularly.
11. ParentalCo-operation
- Parents are required to look into their children's school diaryevery day and see that the lessons and home work assigned are daily completed everyday.
- Remarks made in the school diary should be a knowledged and countersigned regularly by parents.
- If you feel that your child is not making the desired progress, please make it a point to discussit withthe principal, the class teacher andthe subject teacher.
- Criticism of a teacher or the school, in the presence of the student, should be avoided. This may cause the student to lose respect for the teacher and the school.
- Parents are not allowed to meet their children or their teachers during school hours without prior permission of the principal.
- Parents are expected to participate regularly in school functions especially when they areinvited.
- Our school teachers do not give private tuition. Therefore, do not approach them to teach your wards privately.
- Parents are requested to inform the school of any change of address or mobile number.
- Visitors are not allowed to meet the teachers in their respective classrooms.
- (a) Parents are required to send their children to school on time. (b) Presence of every child in the assembly is compulsory.
- Please ensure and encourage your child to take part in all the activities ofthe school.
(c) The child who fails to reach the school on time and does not attend the assembly maybe sent back home.
(d) No sick child should besent to school with medicines to be taken during school hoursexceptin case of emergency medicine like inhalers for asthma.
(e) Children will not be allowed to go home from school in between school hours exceptfor any unforeseen circumstance.
12. Change of Rules
Rules and regulations mentioned herein may be changed as per the decisions of theschool management. The changes will be informed by the teacher through the school diariesin written.
13. Parent-Teacher Meeting
School organizes parent-teacher meetings where talk sare arranged on child education and child welfare.Attendance of all the parents at such meeting is compulsory.
14. General Rules
- Students of all classes should attend prayer meetings in the morning. Students coming latemay not be allowed to enter the class without the principal's permission.
- Parents or the servants are not allowed to enter in any classroom. No servant is permittedinthe school premises until theschool gets over.
- No child should be absent without a prior written leave application. In case of contagiousillness, the child is not allowed to attend school without a fitness certificate from anauthorized medical practitioner.
- No jewellery is to be worn (except a wrist-watch), and no make-up of any kind is to be used. Nails are to be kept trimmed.
- The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of books, money, clothes, or other items belonging to the student. Each child is responsible for his/her own belongings.
- Any kind of damage done to the school property or premises by a student is to be replaced or borne by him/her. Students should keep their bicycles at the school cycle-stand, properly locked. School authorities will not be held responsible for any loss of unlocked cycles kept in the cycle-stand.
- Every child is expected to contribute to the values and standards of the school by his/herconduct, discipline and commitment to studies.
- It is compulsory for students to participate in school functions, sports, cultural and literaryactivities. For at least one function per year, the child will have to get a dress or a costumemade, as per requirements.
- No child is allowed to bring a mobile phone. Use of motorcycle or mopeds without a validdriving license from the government is strictly prohibited.
- No child will be allowed to leave school during school hours. In exceptional circumstances, the child will be allowed to go with the permission of the Principal, along with their parent/guardian.
- 11. Parents' cooperation is solicited in maintaining punctuality, regularity, and discipline at all school functions.
15. School Examination and Continuous Evaluation
- Progress of the students will be assessed on the basis of weekly assessments, half-yearly, and annual examinations. The marks obtained in these tests will be taken into consideration at the time of determining annual promotion.
- Promotion will be granted on the basis of the performance of the students for the wholeyear.
- Continuous evaluation is an integral part of the education process, and a child is appreciated for the following four aspects: attitude, behaviour, effort, and improvement. There are no "examinations" in the pre-school years, only continuous evaluation.
16. Library Rules
- Books will be issued and returned as per rules framed by the school.
- Books will be issued for a definite period of time.
- Only one book may be issued at a time.
- Alate fine of Re.1 per book willbe charged daily untilthe book is returned.
- The student should point out any damage done to the books prior of getting them issuedinhis/her name, otherwise he/she will be charged for the damage.
- Tearing, writing, scribbling, or folding of pages in the book will be considered as damage done to books.
- Students losing books or damaging them will be asked to pay the cost of the books.
- All the library books issued to students must be returned before the commencement of theannual examinations and clearance slips must be obtained from the library to appear inthese examinations.
17. Laboratory Rules
The school has well-equipped laboratories to facilitate experimental work in various sciences. The following rules are to be observed in the science laboratories and computer lab.
- Equipment for use in the laboratories will be issued to students as per rules laid down byeach lab.
- No equipment is to be taken out of the laboratory without written permission.
- Any damage to the equipment during practical lessons will be borne by the student.
- Any item issued from the laboratories must be returned before the commencement of the annual examinations, and a clearance certificate must be obtained from the science teachers and computer lab in-charge to allow the students to appear in their annual examinations.
18. Progress Report
Parents are requested to collect the progress reports of their wards regularly on the dates announced by the school after every examination. The report cards must be returned to the school within 3 days, failing which a duplicate card will be issued against payment of Rs. 100/-.
19. School Transport
- School van/bus facility, if availed of by guardians, will be for the entire session. Inexceptional cases, a guardian may discontinue it by giving one month's notice or onemonth's transport fee.
- In case the school van/bus does not reach on time due to mechanical breakdown or due to the illness of the driver, guardians are requested to make their own alternative arrangements. However, the school tries its best to provide satisfactory transport service.
